Works very vell. Easy to install, especially like location stickers for both front and back which adds to installation ease.fully meets expectations
Used this impedence matching device to interface between my new 8 ohm system and my original 4 ohm speakers. I used my old speakers as the rear surround sound units and installed a new 8 ohm 7.2 amplifier with a new set of 5 speaker set of a pair of mains, pair of side surrounds, center and a subwoofer. So far, everything is performing fine with our new plasma.
I hooked this speaker control box up to a cheap $99 Sony mini stero. It works great, two speakers are inside the garage and I added two speakers outside in the driveway where I wash the cars. Purchased the 16 gauge 100 ft speaker wire from Amazon at half the price the stores wanted.
this is a nice switch. the only thing i don't care for is the zone buttons. it is very simple to use. it is very simple to wire. they work fine, but Sima could have used a soft touch button instead. the ones that are one it remind me of the ones used on electronics in the 80's, very stiff and loud.
Overall, this device works great. Especially at Amazon's prices. I am knocking it a star because the buttons feel a little bit 'plastic'. It doesn't hamper or impede the device in anyway, that is just my own little gripe.
